Having trouble adding text to your video? Clipchamp has created a five step by step guide to solve all your problems.
Select the text you would like to import into your video.
Drag and drop your text into the timeline. If you drop the text in the wrong place, just drag it again to the correct place.
Click the title to change your text. You can change your text as many times as you like.
Adjust text size – make sure it fits in the screen. Do not cut off any of the text.
Adjust text position – make sure it isn’t covering the main focus video too much. Avoid placing over faces, eyes or mouths.
Adjust text font – choose the font that best suits your video style and is easy to read.
Adjust text colour – choose a colour that is easy to read, stands out and does not blend in with the background.
If you are not sure where to position your text, here are some example videos to help you out.
