Bring out your bubbe’s latke recipe and grab your dreidel, here comes Hanukkah! The Festival of Lights is near, so we’ve created eight fun video templates to help you celebrate Hanukkah on social media.

What is Hanukkah? In case you were wondering, it’s an eight-day wintertime Jewish holiday, also known as the “Festival of Lights.” It is a celebration of the rededication of the Second Temple in Jerusalem in 165 BCE. In fact, it gets its name from the Hebrew word “Chanukah” which means dedication.

Hanukkah lasts eight nights to commemorate the miracle of how long the holy Menorah burned at the end of the Maccabean Revolt. This year Hanukkah begins December 25, 2024, and ends on January 2, 2025.

Celebrate the Miracle of the Oil during Chanukah this year with these eight Hanukkah video ideas and templates in Clipchamp

Wish your friends Hanukkah Sameach with a warm and festive Happy Hanukkah video card. Add Hanukkah imagery like menorahs, dreidels, and the Star of David from the content library to create your Hanukkah greeting card video. Drop in your photos using the OneDrive integration and you're set to share the Hanukkah joy. You can also add festive music and animate your family names and greetings with motion text

2. Hanukkah menorah lighting video invite
