How to add royalty-free stock to videos

Step 1. Select stock videos and images

We recommend creating a video script or storyboard to help you ideate what you want to show in your corporate video. Once you understand your video’s scene requirements, click on the stock video tab on the toolbar. Start browsing the themed collections or search for a genre, aesthetic, or industry using the keyword search bar.

Step 2. Adjust colors and add effects

Finetune the look of your stock assets using the adjust color settings or by choosing a filter or effect. Customize the look of the footage and images so they match your brand’s guidelines, color schemes, and more. Navigate to the adjust colors tab on the property panel and use the sliders to change the contrast, temperature, transparency, and other video enhancer settings.

You can also create a unique video filter that applies a bold colored overlay on your stock media.

Lastly, you can also animate your stock media using an effect. For example, the slow zoom effect can create movement and engagement in images, while the green screen effect can remove your video background when recording your facecam.

Another great effect for work video editing is the blur effect can hide important details like login credentials and passwords, while recording a window or demo video.

Step 3. Add transitions

If your corporate video includes multiple stock videos and images, consider adding smooth scene transitions for a polished effect. Click on the transitions tab on the toolbar, then drag a transition between two clips on the timeline. You can edit and remove transitions inside the transitions tab on the property panel.

Step 4. Save your video

Review your video by watching it with the play button. When you’re ready to save, click on the export button and follow the prompts.

Choose a video resolution option like 1080p HD, rename your video, add a video description to give your colleagues some context about your video when you share it. Finally, select the OneDrive work folder you’d like to save your video in.
