Microsoft Clipchamp has an all-new iOS mobile app. The major update comes with a complete design refresh, a new template-based editing experience, and a full timeline editor with added AI features. Let’s dive into the new free mobile app that makes creating videos on the go easy.
Templates for small businesses
Create eye catching Reels, Shorts, and TikTok videos using high quality, beat synced templates perfect for small businesses and content creators. The Clipchamp iOS app comes with hundreds of free video templates in trending categories like food and drink, real estate, before and after, fitness, retail, travel, sales ads, giveaways, and more. There are also more generic video templates to suit your style and aesthetic, found in the elegant, energetic, bold text, chilled, and trending categories.
Once you’ve chosen a video template, you’ll be able to replace all the media by swapping them out with your camera roll footage or choosing from the stock library of royalty-free media. Your replaced media assets will automatically shorten to the length of the template footage, so your video cuts stay synced with the template music. Next, adjust animated text and graphic overlays to suit your branding before tapping export, or head to the full editor to make further edits.
Full video editor
The full video editor is a multi-track timeline, allowing you to express yourself with trending stickers and fonts, background music, voiceovers, transitions, effects, and filters. Inside the full editor find new AI tools to create subtitles, AI voiceovers, and reframe landscape footage for free.
