How to set up an Instagram Poll
Here is a step-by-step guide to creating an Instagram Poll.
Open the Instagram App and then swipe left. You will be taken to the screen where you can post Instagram Stories.
Select Story. It's located just underneath the Record Button. You will see three options on this screen. Make sure you select Story. You can only create polls in your Instagram Story.
The next step is to post an image or a video to your story. You can take photos as you create the story or just select from your Camera Roll for the image or video. If you have the photo or video saved, just press the picture icon on the bottom left screen. It will take you to your Camera Roll for the image or video options.
After selecting an image or video, click on the sticker icon on the top right of the screen. It's the 3rd icon from the left.
Scroll down and look for the sliding poll or simply choose poll. You can either do a question & answer IG poll or a sliding poll. To choose a sliding poll, you will need to scroll down until you find the slide bar option.
Type in your question and then the possible responses. For the slide bar, you will need to type in the question and then add an emoji to IG's sliding bar.
The last step is to share it with your followers by clicking "Send To".

To view the results of the poll, just click "Seen by" on the bottom left corner of your IG Story. It will show you who voted for the poll and the results too. Keep in mind that the Story and the results disappear after 24 hours, so make sure you view the results in time!
